EXTERNAL Iran takes you on a visual journey beyond traditional photography. This 9-minute video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the project, covering over 9000 km across northern, northeastern, southern, and parts of central Iran.

The “External Iran” project explores the meaning of Iran and being Iranian through photography. Initially, it aimed to showcase Iran's diverse ethnic groups in an artistic way, but later, it evolved to go deeper, focusing not just on the visual appeal but on the emotions and experiences of Iran. The project experiments with different photography techniques, such as unique lighting and composition, to show Iran beyond just faces and places.
